Deck cabin galley Maintenance
IMPA / SKU Code: RXSOL-50-5021-025

Liquid product used for the reduction of hardness in boilers. Hardness Control is highly soluble in water and It will precipitate calcium hardness as a non-adherent sludge.

Available Packaging:
Boiler water hardness resulting tuff scale in side the system tubes, which becomes very tuff to remove. So its prior treatment with HARDNESS control is wise decision. We are keeping ready stock of material in 25, 50 Ltr packing.
Ready Port Stock 25L, 210L Drums & 1000L IBC
IMPA / ISSA Standard MARPOL Compliant Formulations
ISO 9001:2015 QA TDS, MSDS & COA Available

Application & Uses

Hardness Control is formulated to form a precipitate with calcium ions which will not adhere to metal surfaces but are in a form suitable for blowdown.

Dosage & Directions for Use

For optimum results dose Hardness Control direct to the boiler via the bypass pot-feeder. The dry powder should be dissolved in hot water (50°C) at a ratio of 1 part powder to twenty parts condensate (e.g. 500 grams/10 litres). Ensure that treatment is fully dissolved before dosing.

Select row on righthand side for applicable pressure range. Compare test result with comment in table and dose stated amount of product per ton boiler water volume.

These are recommended values based on experience and are in no way intended to replace the boiler manufacturer's specifications or company regulations.

RXSOL Boiler Corrosion Scale Treatment should be fed continuously in order to properly protect the boiler. Boiler Corrosion Scale Treatment can be fed neat or in any convenient dilution made up in soft water or cooled condensate. Boiler Corrosion Scale Treatment should be dosed using individual chemical dosing unit, must not be mixed with oxygen scavengers or condensate system corrosion inhibitors in concentrated form (e.g. concentrated chemical products should not be mixed together).

Sampling and Testing
Boiler Corrosion Scale Treatment is normally used in conjunction with RXSOL Alkalinity Control treatment in a conventional alkaline phosphate treatment programme for HP boilers, where independent control of phosphate and alkalinity control is required.

Dosing and Control
The dosage of Boiler Corrosion Scale Treatment depends on a number of operational factors such as feed-water quality, boiler design and steam rate. Control of Boiler Corrosion Scale Treatment is by a simple test to give the required level of phosphate (as PO4) in the boiler water. A simple Hardness Treatment test kit is available for this purpose. NOTE: Dependent on water quality, Boiler Corrosion Scale Treatment dosed at 0.25 liters/ton will increase the phosphate reserve by the order of 10mg/l.

Sampling And Testing

A sample of boiler water should be drawn for analysis daily. The sample should always be taken from the same point after blow down, cooled and tested immediately. Follow the Rxsol Hardness Test Kit instructions and fill the Boiler Water Log Form according to result results. It is important that regular testing is carried out to ensure levels of treatment are correct.

Recommended Industrial & Shipboard Areas

Hardness Control Liquid is alkaline phosphate based new generation formula which is most common in Marine and Industrial boiler chemical treatment application.

Product Description & Chemical Profile

Hardness Control is a Liquid product used for the reduction of hardness in boilers and to adjust hardness and phosphate. Hardness Control is highly soluble in water and It will precipitate calcium hardness as a non-adherent sludge.

USEFULL  to adjust hardness and phosphate .

A precipitant designed to elimate scale deposits and lower the hardness of water in boilers with working pressure up to 60 bars.

It is used in conjunction with alkaline liquid to prevent calcium scale deposits. Both products are used in our standard boiler water treatment programs for low-pressure boiler systems (0-32 bar) and medium-pressure steam propulsion vessels (32-60 bar).  Reduction of Hardness in boiler water system, and convert these salts in non adherent to avoid scale formation. It will precipitate calcium hardness chemically.
