Application & Uses
All polyamide, polysulfone, and thin-film composite membranes can be used with MembraneGuard MG 11 Silt Remover. It can be used at any temperature up to the highest that the membrane manufacturer recommends, starting at 15°C (60°F). Twenty-five grams of MembraneGuard MG 11 Silt Remover are diluted with one liter of water as the standard.
Dosage & Directions for Use
Dosage: 25 gm per ltr of water
How to use MembraneGuard MG 11 Silt Remover:
- Add RO permeate to the cleaning tank.
- Add 25 grams of Floclean MC11 gradually for every liter of available cleaning tank space.
- The cleaning solution can be heated to increase cleaning efficacy.
- Use a mixer to thoroughly mix the solution or run it through the cleaning pump.
- Adhere to the temperature restrictions set by the membrane manufacturer.
- For one hour, follow the flow rate suggested by the membrane or system manufacturer and circulate the solution through the membrane bank in the feed direction.
The following recommendations may be followed in the event that the manufacturer's advice is unavailable.

The high pH formulation MembraneGuard MG 11 Silt Remover was created especially to remove silt, organics, and other particle deposits from polyamide. Thin film composite membrane with polysulfone surfaces. This cutting-edge, extremely potent powder has the subsequent characteristics:
- pH was set at 10.0 + 0.5.
- Extremely efficient at room temperature
- Is easily washed and has no surfactants
- Contains chelating agents and detergent builders or pH buffer
